Starlite Diner has reigned supreme in the Moscow burger market for more than a decade. It comes as no surprise, then, that the chain’s upscale steak house Chicago Prime offers one of the best burgers in the city. The sandwich’s 790- ruble price tag might be hard to swallow, but it is worth every kopeck. As one might expect, the steak burger is bitmore elegantly presented than its counterparts at the diner downstairs, but nothing about it is “fancy.” The succulent meat patty is well seasoned and expertly grilled, and topped with bacon, Gruyere and cheddar cheeses, fried onions and mushrooms. The comfort food is nothing short of magical, and is best enjoyed in the bar area with a side of Parmesan truffle fries. A more affordable way to sample the sandwich is as part of Chicago’s business lunch, where it costs an extra 470 rubles.
